What if we all turn out to be participants in Virtual Reality Earth?
We live in a frenetic world where pandemics and threats of war bring one existential crisis after another upon us. Beliefs are presented as facts and the lines between truthful reporting and fake news are blurred. How can you act properly as a human being if you have no idea what is true or not? Isn’t all of life an illusion?
We are spiritual beings, having a human experience
Marc Sijm, in his book IVDAVRA (Instruction For Participation In Virtual Reality Earth), offers us a surprising perspective on reality. Inspired by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin’s statement that we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings having a human experience, he describes the participation of a consciousness unit called Stu in Virtual Reality Earth. The purpose of the Earth learning school is for Stu and other consciousness units to gain experience, which afterwards is shared with All, the source of which all consciousness units are a part.
Where did we come from and why are we here?
The author wrote this book out of his interest in human behavior. What moves human beings or what holds them back? How different are we really, or are we more similar than we think? He imagined what it would be like if you had a memory of where you originally came from, if you knew why you are here on earth. With this thought experiment he wants to inspire people to look at their lives in a different way, to focus on personal growth and to choose a prosperous, healthy and happy existence for themselves, in full harmony with all other beings on earth.
